Scores mailed, etc.

For those of you who ordered scores, they finally made it into the mail today. Inside of your packets, you'll find a small sheet of paper with the amount due.

Many of you know that I write a culture and civics blog for the Fall River Herald News. Today's post is about various churches in Fall River, followed by an announcement of the series at St. Anthony's, where we'll be performing Messiah.

Ordering scores: ASAP

If you need to order printed scores, please do so by end of day tomorrow. My plan is to have all scores printed and mailed this week. For information on ordering, click here. 

Ordering Scores

For the fall Messiah/Zelenka rehearsals and concert, you're going to need music. Please read carefully:

• All music must be double-sided and in a black binder.
• If you sang Messiah last year, you may still use that score. You will, however, need a Zelenka score.
• If you're new to us, you'll need both Messiah and Zelenka.

You are welcome to print out your scores. (Look for links in the right column of this blog.)

If you need to order scores, please read on. The prices below include shipping/handling.

• Messiah alone: $12.28
• Zelenka alone: $6.88
• both together: $15.16

I am also taking orders for women who wish to have the score for the 2014 performance of The Planets.

• Planets alone: $4.81
• or added to any order above $0.81

SCORE ORDERS have ended as of 10/23/13. If you don't have scores, you have one of the three options:

1. ask another chorister to make copies
2. download the scores from this blog and print them yourself
3. download the scores and send them to Staples for printing.

Revised Messiah Scores

Revised Messiah scores are now available. Look in the right column of this blog under Scores for two PDF links.

If you sang with us last year, you already have the Messiah score, and you will only need the Zelenka score. If you didn't sing with us last year, you will, of course, need both scores.

You are welcome to print out these scores on your own--just make sure they're double-sided to minimize page turns. 

If you don't have a printer and/or would rather receive scores by mail, I will be in touch very soon with information on how to request and receive your own printed copies.
