Planning on singing with the NBSO Chorus this spring? Your response is MANDATORY.

Dear NBSO Chorus women (including Mastersingers women),

A few weeks ago, I sent out an email requesting a response for participation in the upcoming performance with the NBSO. As of today, I've only had 14 responses out of a list of some 90 singers who expressed interest in singing this spring. A response is mandatory. We can be a bit more flexible with Messiah, but since The Planets has some specific vocal assignments and space issues at the Zeiterion, I need to know exactly how many singers we have and who is singing what.

If you don't wish to perform, you may either respond to this email or fill out the online form indicating your response. (If you already filled out the form, you don't need to do anything at this time.)

It's getting to be PLANETS time!

Dear NBSO Chorus Women,

Back in the summer and fall, I asked if you might be able to participate in this spring's performances of Holst's The Planets. Many of you responded at that time, but now it's time to reconfirm your responses.

Below please find a link to a form with specific questions regarding the rehearsals and performance. You must complete the form in order to participate, so don't ignore this even if you already agreed to participate. The deadline to complete the form is March 1.

If you're wondering what the text is for the piece, there is none. It's meant to be sung on the vowel "u" as in "sun."
